It was a beautiful morning in May, cows mooing, sun shining and I could hear a buzz of excited chatter from the cottages as I headed over, where both bride and groom preparations were getting underway.
The day continued on a high, as we headed first to St Patrick’s Church in Earlswood, then onto a farmer’s field in rural Warwickshire where a Papa Kåta tent was set up and beautifully decorated with Emma’s handmade pompoms, painted stone place settings and wildflowers and a vegetarian feast ensued. There were games in the field, an awkward neighing horse during the speeches, some crazy dancing, a firepit and many laughs.
It’s such an honour to do this work and share such an important day alongside a couple’s closest friends and family and this day was no different. How to describe Emma and Matt? Creative, relaxed, natural and very much in love, so it was clear that was going to be evident through the photos. As I was leaving, I looked around for Emma and Matt to say goodbye, and found them taking a moment out to play some frisbee. Perfect way to round up a brilliant day.
